    Yangon

    Today is the first day of your holiday in Myanmar. On arrival, transfer to your selected hotel and the day will be adapted according to your arrival time. A short orientation tour is arranged to have a glimpse of the unique charm of the capital and experience your first contact with the local population, well known for their kindness. Enjoy the sunset from the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.

    Yangon to Mandalay

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. On arrival, transfer to your hotel (approximately 1 hour drive) through the city centre, in order to have a first glance of the former Royal Capital of Burma. Visit the Mahamuni Pagoda as well as a gold leaf factory. Later, visit the Shwe Inbin Monastery, a classic building made of traditional wood and end the visit by spending some time at the Kyauktawgyi Pagoda with its seated Buddha carved out of a single block of marble. Enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

    Mandalay- Mingun- Amarapura to Mandalay

    After breakfast, transfer to the port of Mandalay, board a local boat and set sail to Mingun. On arrival, visit Mantaragyi Pagoda and the legendary Mingun Bell, which weighs 101 tons and is believed to be the largest bell still intact in the world. Return to Mandalay late morning. In the afternoon, drive to Amarapura located 12 km south of Mandalay and discover its Buddhist Monastery where over a thousand monks live and study and then cross the amazing U Bien teak wooden bridge. Then transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

    Mandalay to Bagan

    Early in the morning after breakfast, transfer to the port of Mandalay and depart by express boat to Bagan, a UNESCO World Heritage site regarded as the spiritual heritage of the ancient Burma (ETD: 06h00 and please note that there are no boats on Sundays and Wednesdays). Relax after boarding the boat while watching the sunrise. Observe the daily life style of the people along the Irrawady River. Arrive in Bagan at around 16h00 and discover the famous archaeological site of Bagan, with its amazing 2,229 monuments. Enjoy the sunset from the Shwesandaw Pagoda, overlooking the plain with thousand pagodas. Overnight in Bagan.

    Bagan

    After breakfast, visit the Nyaung-U Market and continue touring the archaeological sites of Bagan. Explore the major temples and monuments, some monasteries and caves, then stop at a lacquer workshop to learn about this fascinating traditional art. Overnight in Bagan.

    Bagan - Mount Popa to Yangon

    After breakfast, drive to Mount Popa, the mountain of flowers (approximately 1-½ hour drive). On arrival, visit Mount Popa with the option of climbing the 777 steps to enjoy a breathtaking view from the top of the mountain. Return to Bagan in the afternoon and transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
