    Arrival Kathmandu

    Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. You will be briefed about your activities for the next few days. The rest of the day is free to explore Kathmandu on your own or relax at the hotel.

    Patan, Khokana and Bungmati

    After an early breakfast depart to Patan. Visit Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other places in Patan. See intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples designed in pagoda style, and repoussé metalwork. Also visit a handicraft center in Patan. After a complete exploration of the rich cultural heritage of Patan proceed to Khokana.

    Khokana is a traditional tiny and a scenic Newari village. It is famous for its mustard-oil harvesting process in which a heavy wooden beam is used to crush the mustard seeds in order to extract the oil. Later we to travel on foot to Bungamati. The village is on elevated land overlooking the Bagmati River. The village gives a glimpse of medieval era as you see traditional houses made out of mud and brick with tiled roofs, stone paved streets, old temples, people working and carving wood on the streets.

    Bhaktapur - Changunarayan

    Post breakfast, you'll visit Thimi, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan Temple.

    Kathmandu Valley

    After an early breakfast, visit Swayambunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the World, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. It is nicknamed the monkey temple after the tribe of monkeys that look after the hill. Thereafter go on a tour to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site Boudhanath. As you travel along the exotic locales of Kathmandu, more diversified cultural settings in the valley will welcome you. Learn about Buddhism and the history of the beautiful stupa at Boudhanath, one of the holiest places for Buddhists.

    Kathmandu - Nagarkot

    After breakfast transfer to Pashupatinath which is the oldest and holy Hindu temple of Lord Shiva. It is 6 km east of Kathmandu and center of the annual pilgrimage on the day of Maha Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. This temple is situated amidst a lush green natural setting in Pagoda style, has a gold gilded, two-tier roof and richly carved silver doors which are famous for their architecture. The premise of this temple is accessible only to Hindus. Visitors and non-Hindus are permitted to view the temple only from the east bank of River Bagmati. In the afternoon drive to Nagarkot which is famous for its Himalayan view.

    Nagarkot - Kathmandu

    Wake up early to see and capture the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayan Range. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu from Nagarkot. Visit the seventh UNESCO World Heritage site of the tour, Kathmandu Durbar Square in the afternoon. At the end of the day return to your hotel for a well deserved rest.
